Stir-Fried Asparagus

2 lb. asparagus
2 Tbs. peanut or olive oil
1 Tbs. fresh ginger, minced or grated
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chicken broth

Wash asparagus, trim off tough stalk ends, an cut into 2-inch pieces. Prepare ginger and garlic.
Heat wok or skillet over high heat. Add oil and stir. Immediately add asparagus and ginger. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and salt. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Add broth. Cover, reduce heat slightly, and cook for 5 minutes or until tender.
