from Mom Tuttle
1 small onion, finely grated (mince up in food processor to save your tears)
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. olive oil (I sometimes substitute some of this with vegetable oil)
2-3 tsp. mustard
1/4 c. vinegar
2 T. mayonnaise
Blend well. Refrigerate.
