2 sticks of butter
1 c. chopped onion
2 c. chicken broth
2 pkg. (14 oz. each) dry stuffing
1 pkg. mild pork sausage
salt, pepper, poultry seasoning
Fry sausage and onion until cooked through. Drain and set aside.
Place stuffing in a large bowl. Add sausage. Melt butter over low heat then add chicken broth. Seasonwith a little salt and pepper and poultry seasoning. Heat until boiling. Add liquid to dry ingredients and mix until evenly moistened.
Either stuff a turkey with this or place in a greased baking dish and bake until hot, about 30 minutes. Add 2 beaten eggs to mixture for added moisture if baking instead of stuffing inside the bird.
