Pork Chops and Apples

from Terry Kint

1 egg

1/4 c. milk
1 bag of chicken breading (House of Autry brand preferred)
6 pork chops

5 Granny Smith apples
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbs. flour
1-2 Tbs. butter
water

Combine egg and milk and whisk together. Dip pork chops in egg mixture and then dredge in chicken breading mix. Bake at 235-250* until pork chops are cooked through, approximately 40-60 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pork chops.

Peel apples and cut into sliced. Combine sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl and mix. Add apples and mix until well-coated. Put apples in a baking dish, dot with butter, and add a little water in the bottom of the dish. Cover and bake at 325-350* for 1 hour until bubbly. Serve pork chops with apples on top.
